Search and Replace

Utilities > Search and Replace

Search and Replace is used to substitute items on Fulfillments, Receipts, Recipes, Menu Plans, and Production Records en masse.

  1. Name - name will populate after selecting Update Type

  2. Update Type - select Update Type (Item Fulfillment, Item Receipt, Menu Plan, Production Record, Recipe)
    Additional filters and options will appear upon Update Type selection.

  3. Reset - click to reset filters

  4. Update - click to run the update job
    Note: A notice will appear in the Bell stating how many changes were made.

ITEM FULFILLMENT

Replace items on an item fulfillment.

  1. Item to be Replaced (Requested) - select inventory item to be replaced

  2. Unit of Measure - select unit of measure to be replaced

  3. Replacement Item - select inventory item that will replace the requested item

  4. Unit of Measure - select unit of measure that will be used for the replacement item

  5. Replacement Factor - enter the replacement factor. Note: The Replacement Factor is the multiplier applied to the requested quantity. If the requested quantity is 100 and the multiplier is 2, the replacement item quantity will be 200.

  6. Fulfillment Warehouse - filter by Fulfillment Warehouse

  7. Receiving Warehouse - filter by Receiving Warehouse

  8. Expected Date - filter by the expected date range

ITEM RECEIPT

Replace items on an item receipt.

  1. Item to be Replaced - select inventory item to be replaced

  3. Replacement Item - select inventory item that will replace the requested item

  4. Unit of Measure - select unit of measure that will be used for the replacement item

  6. Fulfillment Vendor - filter by Fulfillment Vendor

MENU PLAN

  1. Item to be Replaced - select recipe to be replaced

  1. Item to be Replaced - select recipe to be replaced

RECIPE

Replace ingredients within a recipe.

  3. Replacement Item - select ingredient that will replace the original

  4. Unit of Measure - select unit(s) of measure that will be used for the replacement item

  5. Replacement Factor - enter the replacement factor. Note: The Replacement Factor is the multiplier applied to the requested quantity. If the requested quantity is 100 and the multiplier is 2, the replacement item quantity will be 200.

  6. Recipe(s) - filter for the recipe(s) in which to replace the ingredient
